Sizzle is a streamlined bandpass saturator built around a technique many pros rely on—isolating a frequency range, saturating it, and blending it back into the mix to add energy and presence. Instead of juggling multiple plug-ins and routing complex FX chains, Sizzle condenses that entire workflow into a single, focused tool.

The result is a refined processor that enhances a frequency band, creating a sense of added headroom while filling out the frequency spectrum in a controlled, musical way.

Since its initial release, Sizzle has evolved with a range of meaningful upgrades. It now features linear FIR filtering, BrickWall filters for precise, steep roll-offs, and a slower, analog-style filter for a more colored response.

The newly added Solo Mode allows for lo-fi or AM radio-style textures as well, which isolates the processed band. With input, output, and mix controls, you have full control over how the effect integrates into your signal chain.

Under the hood, there are three distinct distortion paths, which add flexibility and character: optional digital diode clipping for sharper edges, smooth gain-based saturation via the Burn control, and the signature “Sizzle” distortion driven by the Presence knob.

Finally, ongoing refinements have improved overall sound quality and efficiency, keeping the plug-in lightweight and intuitive while expanding its output—from subtle enhancement and spectral balance to aggressive distortion and lo-fi sound design.
