I’m Dave, the developer behind DJW Audio.

I’ve just released Shine Reverb, a modern reverb plugin for adding polished space, width and movement to vocals, synths, guitars and atmospheric sounds.

The focus is on getting to a finished sound quickly. Lush vocal plates, wide modulated spaces, subtle mix depth, bigger cinematic tails and shimmer-style textures without needing a huge parameter dive.

I’m genuinely very pleased with how this algorithm has turned out. To my ears, it sits very comfortably alongside some of the big-name reverbs we all know and love, while still having its own character and workflow.

Formats: VST3, AU and AAX
Systems: macOS (Windows/Linux soon)
Trial: 14 days
Launch price: £49
Regular price: £99
Free updates forever.

Small update: I’ve added a short vocal demo showing the Modulated preset in Shine Reverb.

The main thing I’m trying to show is how the reverb adds movement and width without pushing the vocal too far back in the mix.

I’d be interested to know how it translates on other systems, especially compared with the reverbs people here usually reach for on vocals.

Thanks to anyone who checks it out.
