to share the recording approach here.

Concrete Vol.1 — 100 loops recorded
live in a derelict warehouse in Portugal.

Recording chain:
Drums: Gretsch 1970s Stop-Sign kit
Mics: Sennheiser drum mic pack
Room mic: SM7B pointed at concrete
floor — captures the kick slam and
room weight without washing out
Interface: Tascam
Synthesis: Moog Sound Studio Trio
running live alongside drums

No outboard compression on tracking.
The room does the work. Dry-ish and
punchy over ambient wash.
