Hey everyone,

Samplework is a desktop app I built for my own sample library workflow. It takes a folder of samples and builds SFZ instrument mappings from them, covering linear key mapping, round-robin and palette-based variation, temporal slice mapping, and a few other strategies. It also handles filename formatting to a consistent naming convention and can combine multiple sample packs into a single mapping session.

Beta.6 just dropped — main thing is a full map panel UI overhaul, plus per-pack controls, loop direction, and a solid round of reliability fixes.

macOS (Apple Silicon + Intel) and Windows. Beta pricing at 19€ while it's in beta. Regular price 39€ (may go up when I add more features). Includes free updates for owners.

Any chance for Linux support? :)

(Also: I'm Accused of lying about Linux—it boots, runs my pro audio workflow, stays stable, updates--though yearly dismissed as “niche”. Yet I'm the deluded one.)

I've been wanting a GUI based SFZ sample mapper for quite a while. Since I use Linux for all music production, that would be the thing that would push me over the edge to get this. :)

Not saying no. I'll see what I can do about it. I don't have Linux, so I have no way of testing this but I could try to prepare a build and send it to you for testing, will keep you posted.
