It really does sound fantastic.
It's effectively like the original dual manual prophet 10. Two independent prophets in one.
Having the X-mod system in there adds a huge amount of capability.

I own everything Gforce has for a reason. Their stuff is amazing. This was an insta buy without even listening to it.

times we live in...20 years ago i could only dream about such good emulation, we only had Pro 53, now we have Repro 5, Model 80 and this. Pick your choice

First impressions: Sounds beautiful. Tons of really good presets. The layer function allows for some super lush sounds. The effects are good. Intro price is nice.
Nitpicks: Wish you could hide the keyboard. Vintage knob affects the envelopes way more than I'd like. Don't like the way stereo spread is implemented. Font in the modulation panel is fuzzy and indistinct. Can be heavy on the ol' CPU.

The difference is that this is based on the Relative new Prophet 5 Rev4 so it has the same 2 filters to choose from and the Model 80 and Repro are based on the Old Cem Prophets so they are not the sametlvid wrote: Tue Jun 16, 2026 10:41 am If you want a fully true-to-hardware emulation get the Model 80. Get this if you like the presets.
+ It doesn't require ilok to work

Same problem here.Lbdunequest wrote: Tue Jun 16, 2026 10:59 am i bought Model 80, it sounds great, but i havent used for couple years, ilok transfer fee is so high i feel im stuck with that plugin as it doesnt retain any value
I use U-he Repro more because it also has the Pro one and also works on Linux and it has a customer friendly copy protection.
iLok does give me issues every now and then when loading The Softube plugins so i haven't installed any of my Softube plugins for over a year now because of it and it was also a issue with The newer Amd cpu's and iLok a few months back.
I also like to have my plugins on a separate drive and Softube doesn't like that either.

Invader 2 is good enough for me.
