We Make Dance Music has released WMDM Desktop, a free sample and template manager for producers — a self-hosted alternative to Splice and Loopcloud without the
monthly subscription. It unifies everything you've bought or downloaded into one searchable library and installs it straight into your DAW's user folders.

The bundled WMDM Bridge plugin (AU + VST3, free with the Mac install) runs inside Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Cubase, FL Studio, Bitwig, and Studio One: browse your
library, audition at project tempo, filter by harmonic key, BPM, or instrument family, and drag samples straight onto the timeline. A pure-Rust engine auto-detects
key and BPM for untagged samples. The files stay on your disk — no streaming, no credits.

WMDM Desktop is free. The Mac build is signed and notarized (Apple Silicon + Intel); Windows is in beta.
