Anyone else feel a bit uneasy about the wording on Sonibles website regarding their sale?
"For more than a decade, you've trusted us with your audio. From vocals and drums to podcasts, full mixes, and the occasional file named "final_FINAL_v27.wav"..., "
I'm sure it is just a joke, but I dont really like the idea of a plugin developer collecting any info like file names nor can I think of a reason why they should. I have to wonder how much 'anonymous' data they might actually be collecting about my arranging or mixing sessions.
I hope I'm wrong about this.
Sonible data collection?

I can't tell if you're missing their joke or if I'm missing your joke

LOL I imagine if you have such a file name you'd have a 'wtf' reaction. It's like some forums where someone posts "look at this idiot: www.whateverforum/username/etc" and it shows your user account info and you freak out thinking they posted the link to your personal account, not realizing it sends everyone to their own account.

Of course I dont think they are referring to an actual filename, but the fact they are joking about it makes me wonder if they are actually getting to see user data like that.

I happened to see a t shirt with this joke on a couple of months ago. It made me laugh then, and it's still amusing. In my experience it was way worse doing 3D modelling than music, where you have loads of interdependent files that different people are working on.
