ColourCopy: first pulse of the delay starts too late, gap seems larger than gaps in subsequent echos

This is troublesome for guitar playing where uniformity is desired. Every pluck repeats it, and it sounds a bit clumsy and clutzy to me. Is there a way to adjust that first gap using a gui element? If not, a bi-directional slider to adjust the initial wait time for the first echo would be a cool feature. 8) (of course I could be just imagining this :( but being able to adjust that initial time would still be useful.

And it would also be great if I could lower the volume of that first pulse, to fit in better with the feedback decay concept. Every pluck repeating twice at the same volume defeats a little of the desired decay. The first echo may even be a hair louder than the initial note in some cases :dog:

Thanks for listening!

I think the thing here would be to:
a) check if there is a Plugin Delay Compensation issue - some plugins create latency which most hosts can account for if you have the PDC set to On
b) grab a different simple delay unit and see if the same issue occurs.

Are you experiencing typical latency issues maybe?

Colour Copy is designed to move the first echo wherever you want. You can just move the tap sliders (L) and (R) a few pixels to the left and this way shift the taps to appear earlier, while the feedback stays exactly in sync. So this should be doing exactly what you want.
