Hi everyoneI’m an Australian electronic musician and the developer of ToneField, a new standalone generative music instrument for macOS and Windows.
ToneField uses an interactive grid to generate melodic patterns that can be played using its internal synth, sent live to a DAW or hardware instrument via MIDI, exported as MIDI files or recorded live as WAV audio.
It began as a personal tool for generating musical ideas and gradually evolved into a standalone instrument for musicians seeking fresh melodic inspiration.
The latest v1.2 update adds selectable MIDI channels and new saw, triangle and pulse waveforms.
