If yer on windows, it might generate a log in your "Documents and Settings/userid/Application Data/Live 4.0.4/Preferences".borax wrote:Hi,

I get this problem if I use RMIV in Live 4 and modify the patch without saving it in RMIV. After I discoverd that was the root of the problem I am always carefull to save the RMIV patch before I save and close Ableton.
To get the corrupt song to open again so I wouldnt lose the entire thing I did the following.
-temporarily removed the RMIV .dll from my vst's directory.
-open the song in ableton...remove the referenced but of course missing RMIV vsti slot (not the whole track just the empty vsti slot) from ableton.
-save the file, close ableton
-reinsert the RMIV .dll to the my vst folder
-open ableton song file again and reinsert the plugin, opening the last saved RMIV patch from that soong...of course I lost the last few tweaks I performed to RMIV.
That got me past the problem when I first discovered it. The experience has taught me to always save all modified patches before saving and closeing the song file. Which in the end has worked out because you end up with a large collection of patches. Hopefully this helps you with the problem you are having with Reaktor. My guess is it should.

I forgot that I had to do this exact thing with impOSCar one time. Nice catch!experimedia wrote:I get this problem if I use RMIV in Live 4 and modify the patch without saving it in RMIV.
