I'd be extremely surprised if Voxengo's Impulse modeller will convert SFI files into *.wav or anything else for that matter. It's a program based on a raytracing algorithm to create new IR's by 'modelling' spaces.
AFAIK the *.SFI files do not contain room geometry, they are encoded packages with descriptions, impulse file and whatever funky graphic a person includes.

If i remember correctly,if you load an SF IR in Acoustic Mirror then save it,it saves the .wav files unlike their original file.A bit tedious compared to a batch converter but works nonetheless.

So, in the hope that I would be able to use the Sony distributed impulses in Voxengo PS by downloading the trial version of Soundforge to export these files to wav format, and it's not initally clear how one would go about doing the export.
Has anyone actually done this? I'd sure like to hear their Outside impulses..
