hello,

some of the ST2 library sounds have that option...I found it quite useful for strings..somehow better than a normal vol-modwheel-association..but how can I make these changes on my own? it seems not to work over the normal midi cc numbers ....

any idea?

You can't do it directly in ST2.

Your host might be able to let you map pitchbend to a MIDI CC, that would allow you to do a similar thing. I can do it in Cubase SX2 with the Transformer. Of course, the extra resolution is lost. :( No way around that until ST2 natively responds to pitchbend or RPN/NRPN data. :(

As Jeez mentioned, it is not possible because the MIDI "Pitch Bend" message is not a MIDI CC message.

In energyXT and some other VST-hosts, it is possible to change the Pitch Bend into a CC (e.g. 119) by using the MIDI Thalamus plugin.

Spend a few minutes on this page. The more people telling IK what ST2 needs, the mote likely we are to have some nice updates in the future.

I wondered the same thing - if it is not possible, how are some of the sounds doing it?

The internal routing available to developers is much more flexible than what's available to users.

In fact, the developers have a dedicated separate program for authoring ST2 instruments.
