SX3 USB key problem

My VST to SX3 upgrade has a Authorization Number consisting of a code of five groups of 5 letters.

On the License Control Center provided by Syncrosoft net page there's a formula for that code but it presumes groups of only 4 letters.

So the authorization of my SX3 USB dongle doesn't succeed.
There's no alternative options, as far as I can see.

Our retailer knows about my problem, they know even one similar case before mine. However they are unable to halp me.

Could anyone provide some knowledge about this?

but you have a while peice of paper which has a box around a code near the bottom of it - the rest of the page is just blether

inside the box it says cubase sx 3 authorisation code

and then rather than having 8 4 character things it has 5 5 character ones

or have you something completely different ?

the thing on the dvd is actually the serial number used during installation

the number for the dongle is on a seperate bit of papaer - as in my first post

After some intensive surfing I managed to find this (actually it's at the end of the link you gave) :

Wish they'd written this piece of great wisdom in the manual.

he he - i updated from 2 so i didnt get a dongle - duh - still im sure thats all sorted now
