adding silence at end of samples autom.?

Sounds like your picking the wrong solution for another problem you have... Please elaborate on why you want this? Did not find a "one shot" setting in a sample-looping thingy?

Does your audio editor have batch processing? Sound Forge comes with a seperate app for doing sutff like this. Except adding odd lengths will be fiddly, as generally add silence functions put in a given amount of time rather than to a given amount of time.
You'd have to figure out a way to add in e.g. 2 seconds of silence and then count down each file to the length of your longest original. Not sure if the batch processing is that sophisticated.
