Koan Pro/EnergyXT - suppress patch change?

I have downloaded the trial version of Koan Pro, and I am routing the MIDI signals from Koan to EnergyXT, where I have set up the VST instruments I want to trigger. Koan Pro sends partch change messages, which messes up my setup. Does anybody know of a way to stop Koan from sending patch change messages, or alternatively a way of filtering them out in EnergyXT?
