I'm a nubie to this prog, and can't find an answer to the following ? on the Tracktion website. When I record a vsti softsynth in Tracktion it always records as a midi file. Is there a way to make it record as a .wav file, or do I have to convert the midi to wav each time, and if I do, how do I convert it within the program? Thank you.

Hi
I'm a bit new to Tracktion myself but I think if you attach the midi input and audio input icons on the left of the sequencer to the same track and record ,you get both midi and audio recorded on the same track, then delete the midi clip if you want to.

Just highlite your midi track and choose render to the project directory,,presto wave file
on its own track,,taking for granted you've edited your midi track and are happy with it.....

Thank you all very much! I just found my new multi-tracker. This thing does everything I've been looking for and more. Beats the pants off everything else I've tried for ease of use and functionality. What a great program!
