Spectrum, Glenn, RMX just keeps getting better and better!..
I've been playing around with some free REX files off the web, and the implementation in RMX is great fun. With a pinch of reverb, vintage compression and a little 'chaos', any old REX loop comes alive!
So.......
I'm hunting round for some Samba/Bossa/Brazilian beats.. the whole REX idea really opens up a whole world of choice.. I'm also really looking forward to chopping up some Jazz beats, like the stuff Giles Peterson plays out...
So........
Are Spectrasonics planning on releasing any World / Jazz / Ethnic S.A.G.E. expanders? Or perhaps work in conjunction with some REX CD providers to open up their sample content to us all? I know that 'Madrid' is one of my personal RMX favourites - a whole DVD of 'Groove Control' loops like that and you have my credit card!
Anyway, Happy New Year to you and yours!

Hmmm, no reply... cooking up some good stuff for NAMM, perhaps?
So, what's it to be for 2005?
SAGE expanders; electronic, ethnic, eclectic?
Or perhaps Atmosphere 'RMX' with a super RMX-FX section and a ton of new patches?
Or another reason for me to give in and buy Trilogy!
Hope 2005 is your best year yet!

Something like this?
http://www.ilio.com/spectrasonics/xpand ... index.html
Haven't heard it myself, but it seems to meet some of your requirements...
