I was just checking out some AKAI synth sample CDs over at Nicebeats:
http://www.nicebeats.de/os/catalog/inde ... Path=24_25
They have samples from the MicroQ, Nordlead, AN1x, etc. for about $40 a CD. Has anyone here bought a title from this series?

The Audity 2000 looks v. cheap...
I've never uised them so I can't comment on the qua;ity. I couldn't find any patch demo's either.
They've also got a 7.6GB Halion grand piano and 7.6GB electronic keys for $65 each.

I bought a couple of these and was not very impressed. I have the jd800 ,and an1x. I've tried the original synths and most of the good sounds I remember were not sampled.
Your better of renting the original synths and sampling the hell out of them yourself.

HI
I have a similar experience, I found the FS1R set almost unusable and the Waldorf fared just as poorly.
In those cases the easy way of sampling had been done - sample 1 shot sounds/fx.
I think the EMU Audity was a bit better.
At the price you may have to ask yourself if a few dozen sounds are worth the price?
They do have a larger than life sound though - I remember thinking - software doesn't quite have this 'depth?' to it?
If I had the inclination to wade through them all I might still consider the bundle though.
Flipper.
