Hiya, quick on here - I cannot get automation to work. I'm going to the Filter section, turning on "W", writing some cutoff data while playing, turning on "R", and nothing happens.
So I then tried another VSTi and the exact same series of keystrokes work perfectly.
Anyone else have this problem? Or know of a workaround?
I'm using Cubease SX3.01 and Sampletank 2 XL

sampletank has very little automation - the only things that can be vst automated are volume, pan and any of the 4 macro dials
if you want to use automation you have to sue midi - thankfully cubase has the midi control plug that can be used on the midi channel connected to sampletank - this will at lesat allow you to copy automation across
