Can anyone recommend a program that makes it easy to do the layout for cd artwork?
Most manufacturing services offer templates to put into Adobe Photoshop, etc. - but is there a program that basically has a CD insert wizard?
e-z CD design template?

Nero does, I believe. Neato, who make inserts, probably do, and I think there's one by Zero Dfex (or whoever it is).
Check on the websites of a few companies who sell bulk CDRs and inserts...

neato definitely does ... you get it when you buy one of their label applicator thingummies ...
... having spent all weekend doing graphics for the asia CD though i have to say the .psd templates i got from our CD printer were dead easy to use if youve got an app that will read .psd (photoshop / paintshop pro / GIMP / probably others)
... for home use though something like the neato one is probably better since you dont have to worry about stuff like bleed areas etc ...
