I listen to all tracks shared in the café here, but this week certainly is a Top Tunes Week. We're only really halfway the week, but for lovers of good music do dip into the music Café. I am amazed by the high standards of tracks that are submitted and shared.

Some great combo's and collabs that would perhaps not be so obvious at first sight (pough vs pHz/opiadream vs Donkey Tugger/Scot Solida vs Har vs vurt vs endmusik

/ me vs Cypherone (okay a little bit of masterbation here

)

And all this on top of some awesome tracks in the winter contest.

It is safe to say though; that I officialy declare this to be Top Tunes Week

The Auditorium – its new – its going to get big and one of the reasons is this – its for music – posting music, listening to it and commenting on it.

Another reason is – its free

Another – you don’t need to register to – upload a track – post a track or even to comment on a track.

All are welcome.

Also if you need space for the K-v-R comp you can direct link to an uploaded track for that – for all other cases – direct listeners to your post – they wont need to register to listen.

There is a dedicated part for collaboration – and this can be expanded – and even segregated for lager collaborations.

You can upload your samples

And Flash movies as well as pictures too.

Spe3D/Peter, I must say that this is a GREAT idea.
I sincerely hope everything is going well and not abused by some people.
I really like the fact that you don't have to register - but as we all know, there's a lot of idiots hanging around on the net that might look for all sorts of possible harm they could be doing...

Seriously, in case you got no skills, time or webspace to build up your own page, but still want your music to get heard, Audioshots is the best place I've seen in ages.

You should have posted this in the music café – no one looks in the ‘everything else’ forum much – better yet would have been the instruments forum – better still a news article – phew! That would save some typing

I purposely posted here as the Café is experiencing not only top tunes but also an overload of shared tracks. It's taking me hours just to keep up with em all

Thanks Sascha, I hope too that it does not get abused by whatever methods, but I do think, I know in fact that there is a need for this. I know becasue of the amount of freeshots I was setting up with no websites - therefore this is actually a much better way for getting tracks up - heard and commented on, rather than a directory of mp3's with no site. Plus it opens doors to new ears for those who have restrictions on thier tracks, ie, bit rate changes, or blocking viwers until they sign up etc. it also gives those with sites a place to post etc.
