I use Chainer to render some sounds and presets from the vst synths I own that use more cpu and the thing is I usually render them to soundfont format BUT I've noticed the resulting sound is not exact to the original one.
does the sfz format imply a loss of sound? do u recommend me to render them to wav instead of sfz?

chainer exports in SF2 format, which is not the same as SFZ by the way. The sound quality in a soundfont is exactly the same as wav, it's just multisampled with extra information( afaik). And incidentally Chainer doesn't stick exactly to the SF2 format so soundfonts made by it may not function as they should - or not work at all in some apps.... (as I recently found out!)

I'd probably use chainer to export as wav instead, because they won't be looped.
