I spent hours looking and download samples, but they were all bad quality, or sounded nothnig like it, i DL about 70 diff samples an no luck.

So, if anyone has a good quality sonar/radar beep samples, can i have it please.

if you want to fine-tune your own, that wav above kinda sounds like pink noise with a sharp attack, a BP filter and a reverb tail

[I'm still learning how to analyze, though ... ]

Sorry, I don't have these samples, but know a really good sound-search site which can help you with that: http://www.findsounds.com/ISAPI/search.dll Their search engine has lots of option to narrow down to the quality of the sound you are looking for.

I made one of those Sonar pings for use in WusikStation a while back.

Can't remember the synth I used - it might have even been WusikStation itself.

Anyway - here's a non-normalised mp3 of the sound.
If you're interested I can get a normalised version and save it to WAV for you.

Sonar

It's not a real sonar noise of course, but it has a Sonar-esque feel.

White noise -> resonant bandpass around 1500hz or so -> amplitude envelope with long release and short decay and low sustain.
