... as our Canadian Battalion 2IC used to say. I finally finished our next album today and posted it off to the label. f**k I hate recording! I had a really good listen to it all on my hi-fi this morning and I realised that I no longer have any idea if its good or not. I mean, its all just how I want it to be but when I listen to it I can't tell if its actually any good. I need to spend the next week or so ignoring it then, when I come back and have a listen, I might be able to be a little more subjective.
The good thing is that I simplified the whole process considerably. I think its really paid off in that it was easy to go back and re-do things if I found myself going down the wrong path. Whilst I still used Cool Edit 2000 to record, I did all the vocal effects in ORION and I also did the mastering in ORION, as a completely separate process, instead of half doing it while I was mixing and half doing later in CE2k.
Anyway, its done and right now that's all I really care about.

First week of May in both Germany and NorAm. [Too much SciFi!] The new German distributor insists on a three month lead-time to make sure everything's right to go which is actually really good because it makes everyone get the shit together. So it will be hot off the press when we're in Europe.
I tell you Caleb, I am only productive because our manager/label keep at me, otherwise I would never get around to it because I hate having to rule a line under it and say "it's done" [because I know it never will be].
