Question about FXPansion BFD drum module

Hello! I am new to drum programming and I don't own FXPansion's BFD drum module but I read many reviews and it appears to be one fantasic thing. What impressed me most was it's "humanization" ability. Correct me if I am wrong but using BFD one can change velocity from within the module and this saves note by note editing in MIDI. I would like to know if there is another plugin or standalone drum application that can do the same kind of automated "humanization" (especially if it is capable of reading different drum sample formats)
