OS9 audio app..?? Putte?

Hi!

Can anybody point me to a certain audio utility for OS9 (sic!)
I remember it was a relatively small freeware download, Putte loved it and used it for everything (??) The cool thing about it was that it would record everything that your soundmanager outputted, which is exactly what I need now (simple text).
I grabbed it from some website in 2003 months before I went OSX. Can anyone point me to the name or even send me it??

I'm not sure, but Audacity might:

It definitely does what you want in the Windows version. You could also try Snapz Pro 2:

...It's prolly overkill since you don't want video, but it might work.
