ktdrumtrigger with velocity request

Hello, first off, ktdrumtrigger. . .
brilliant. . .
I feel sick, and the only cure is more ktdrumtrigger. . .
However,
how much would it cost to simplify it a bit.
Is it possible to have one channel of filter,(rather than three)
and add velocity sensitivity?
What i need is a plugin that measures the amplitude of a transient,
(how high the transient peak is) and convert that to midi "velocity" data
and "note on" data as well. Just like playing a keyboard at different
velocities. This would open a whole new world of possibilities.
1. you could record any drummer with a home made drum kit quietly.
2. you could play live through a laptop triggering any kit you want. (bfd)
3. you could fix off time drummers by editing midi notes rather than audio.
I am prepared to pay for such a device.
cheers

yeah that seems pretty cool but. . .
I'm on a mac. . .
and, it could be so much simpler.
just convert one number into another.
If i could put a small audio to midi filter on eight tracks. . .
route them to a midi track with the BFD on it.
then we would be in business.
The BFD sounds phenominaly real. if we could just play it with pads
and no drum brain.
thanks

Hi there!
- the Windows version already has velocity sensitivity + a compander (Mac will follow)
- the next version will probably have even more channels (oh yes!)
- but no worries: I will only keep 1 channel visible in the interface (that'll also reduce the number of sliders
)
- channels will be switched off by default (so if you only need one, just ignore the others)
- of course you can use this for a "drum on your Coke can, desk and water bottle" setup
