I would just like everybody to know that I just had the best experience with customer service dealing with Audio Damage. I bought a plugin from them and couldn't figure it out. You can totally blame this on my being a dumbass. Their policy is no questions asked refunds. I asked him how to do a certain effect on it, but still didn't turn out the way I wanted it to be. I offered for him to keep a certain amount of the money, since I felt ashamed, and it wouldn't be fair to him. He said it was OK and refunded the whole amount. He even incurred the charges through Paypal. I still feel very bad for this, and I feel I owe it to him to write these words. It was a great plugin but it just wasn't what I was looking for I guess. Still you can call me a dumbass. The gui, cpu everything was great, I just couldn't get the effect I was looking for. I wrote to him a few times, and everytime, he replied within a matter of almost minutes.... literally. Audio Damage: I really appreciate this!!! You really are a good sport. It was a pleasure, eventhough it didn't work out. You definitely deserve a
. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you... Seeing more people like you really does give me hope.

So what effect was it & what was it you were trying to do with it that you couldn't?
I own licenses for all of them; they're all pretty damn good.

It was Discord. I was trying to get the same sounds as the audio demo. but I guess it must have been more in the music itself than the effect.
I swear to god, I'm so ashamed of myself.

I love the audiodamage plugs... they sound great and are light on the cpu, without being expensive. Definitely plugins with character - hope to see many more from chris in the future.

I even offered to donate it for a KvR competition, without the refund, where Audio Damage would take full credit without my name being mentioned. He said it was OK and refunded my money fully in a matter of minutes. What can I do to make it up to him. I feel horrible. I mean, I would never use the plugin myself, but I'm sure someone would have loved it. That guy is awesome. I wish he would join the competition, I didn't dare ask him though.

Yes, I concur: I've emailed Audio Damage several times (praise, questions, suggestions) and have had quick, useful replies.

Taking the time to congratulate the vendor publically certainly elevates you well beyond "dumbass" status. Nice to hear that Audio Damage was so responsive and non judgemental. I'll have to check out their wares.

I bought discord a few weeks ago, I was kind of skeptical about there being no demo, but decided to buy it regardless.
And I must say, even though it wasnt what I expected, it turned out to be an awesome plugin...I was expecting a slowdown kind of pitchshifter, but what it does is lower the pitch without changing the speed, and it does this very well...is also capable of insane feedback loops.
Anyway, I'm glad I went for it.
