Hi,

Does anyone know some good sample cd's or websites where I can get some good mutisamples for trance basses?

Thanx :)

Why not use a VSTi? Much more flexible.

I allready use hard- and softsynths but I'm not always getting the basses I want. I already have sample cd's with 'one-shot- basses but I can't pitch them up/down more than approx 3 semitones, because they will sound terrible if I pitch them more...that's why I would like to use mutisamples.

Dude, I just replied to your post in Trance.nu forum :D You gotta check out http://www.vipzone.time4base.com bass and lead multisamples - that stuff is awesome!!! They got lots of Free multisamples as well, just check out Free Sample section. Those are exactly what you are looking for

i agree with Kriminal, i cant see any way that a sample would be better than a vsti or hardware synth for trance.

okay i will concede. some old analogs and modulars might sound way better. sonik synth 2 has a bunch of great samples for synth bass. i just realized that those basses are far better than my old ReFx Beast or Roland Mc09 stuff.

i cant recommend sonik synth 2 to you here because you are just looking for bass that wouldnt really be fair.

To be honest, he might be better off with samples. To program the right sounds, and then get it EQed right for the mix is not easy. In most trance stuff at the moment, the bass sounds are not easy to nail. The guy at VIPzone has made some really nice (if a little cliche) multisamples that fit the bill perfectly, and slipp right into a mix with out any hesitation.

Just a thought, I know getting the bottom end on a modern trance mix can be tricky!
