Looking to buy IK/SR products....

Hello everybody, I'm new to this forum.
This place is great.

I'm very interested in purchasing some IK/SR products, but I would like some clarification
on the following scenarios so I can optimize my purchases

I plan on getting Tracktion 2($200) when it's released in March.
T2 comes bundled with SampleTank 2 LE
I plan on upgrading STLE to either STL($200) or STXL($279)
Which entitles me to Amplitude 1 for free correct?
This equates to: host + sound library + guitar EFX for $400-$479

My two questions regarding this scenario are:
If I upgrade to STXL, will I then qualify for the Sonik Synth2 crossgrade($200)
-and-
If I upgrade to either STXL or STL, will I then recieve the new sounds with
the SampleTank 2.1 update since I purchased ST2(XL or L) after Jan. 1st?
-or-
Will I have to buy ST2XL($379) straight up in order to get the free new sounds with the
ST2.1 update

Are any of these assumptions correct?
I would like to know because if I could get
host(T2) + gigantic sound library(ST2.1Xl,SS2) +
Guitar EFX(Amplitute 1)
for $600-$679, I would be most pleased.

Okay. You're close. The best way to do what you want to do is this:

Buy the SampleTank 2 XL upgrade + Sonik Synth 2 crossgrade. That should be $299 + $199 or so from www.esoundz.com

Then in that case you will get the ST2.1 upgrade WITH the sounds for free when it is out (not the case with ST2 L).

You will also get AmpliTube full for free as well. So, then just the cost of Tracktion and you're there.

This would be a 15 gig monster sound and sequencing set up that you really could do a lot with.

Dim, you are gonna be blown away when you get all your new sounds. I have Sampletank 2 XL, and SS2, and love them! You could also get an additional $10 in epoints by entering harmonygardens as a referral. You would get $5 for Sampletank, and $5 for SS2. epoints do add up!!

I need to try to catch up with you on epoints myself, especially with Philharmonik and Studiophonic coming soon! Can't stop playing with ST2 and SS2! Been looking for something to run this whatchamaStratocaster through (I got a Line 6 GuitarPort, and it's okay but only scratches the surface on amplifier modeling - I kinda got it more for the online lessons and such)

Squids - any options regarding Amplitude for those of us already up to our yahoos in IK/SR gear? Got no more "cross-grading" possibilities (unless you wanna count the "Studio Bundle") - I'm beginning to wonder if I would have been better off just going ahead and biting the bullet and grabbing the whole thing!
