I noticed that the Elemental Audio Systems plugs don't have much of a buzz on KVR.
I have been putting Neodynium and Equim through the paces and they sound very smooth to my ears.
Does anybody use these or know of anything better before I break the bank?

I have both plugs that you mention and they offer excellent sound quality..but I would mention that with the compressor, I find the factory presets need a bit of tweaking to get the results I like. In my opinion the factory presets have an affect on the sound that adds alittle too much without some adjustments...the eq is very smooth sounding with a multitude of ways that you can set it up. Lately I tend to use Voxengo plugs more so now as they also are good quality and I find that I do not to have to tweak them as much to get the results that I am looking for...overall though, if you can afford them you cannot go wrong with Elemental Audio.

Elemental Audio has some fantastic plugs with more soon on the way. They're a nice alternative to Waves and Voxengo, as they're stuff sounds extremely smooth and transparant and they're always full of surprises (look at Neodynium). They're definately a company you can't go wrong with, and one that deserves to be checked out.
I'm sorry this post wasn't about techno.

The EAS plugins are transparent and classy and make all the difference when I am trying to balance tracks and fit them together. Equium and Firium are like secret weapons in the way that they can sculpt sound without butchering. Neodynium is greatest thing for drum tracks and is the first compressor whose controls made sense to me.
I can't wait until they come up with another new plugin. I sure hope EAS take on a reverb plugin because I know it will be a winner.
Best,
Gordon

I'm trying to decide if I should get the Equim bundle or GlissEq bundle. I can get the Equim bunble at the academic price so it be around the same as the GEq bundle.
If you were me, which one would you buy? I can't buy both!

the "doers" have a high place value definitely with me...the logarithmic sound-quality is very good and the praising performance relationship rather unique

I have Eqium and Firium and the Sonalksis EQ. I like them all, but I tend to use the EA stuff the most. It doesn't really have a color to it; just a nice transparent and clean sound. They are top quality and the price is very fair too. Eqium was the first native EQ that could gave me the results I was looking for. There are a lot of great EQs available to us. Any would be able to do the job for you, personally, I just like working with Equim.
