In an effort to show the true side of my company I am offering this Celesta for only $25 as a download only. I have already had good success with this at OSX Audio and I am posting a link to that thread for "validation"
I beg of you that if you don't have anything positive to say please keep it to yourself. Everything negative has already been said plenty and I am trying to make a good fresh start

Now you can download a Schiedmayer Celesta recorded on stage at the world famous Cannon Center for the Arts for only $25.00. The Celesta is two layers and somewhat small but plays as well as most instruments 5 times it's size (see demos below). If you have been looking for a great playing lost cost Celesta recorded at a world famous hall then this is your instrument!
The size of the Celesta as a .zip file is approximately 37 megabytes. To order simply email sales@donniechristianstudios.com for the instructions. After payment is received you will get instructions via email on how to download your instrument. Each download will be marked and individualized before you download. This is to prevent people from uploading this to various peer to peer servers. If a version of this Celesta should show up on the net the customers identity information will gathered and the appropriated legal action will be taken. I hate to even bring this up but in the past other developers have been burned on the downloadable sounds and I really would like for this to work!

http://www.donniechristianstudios.com/2 ... kovsky.wav
Celesta Demo 2
Both demos are completely dry and contain no processing.
You can download your choice of Gigastudio 3 OR a Multi format version of Kontakt, EXS24, and HALion3

I sincerely wish you well if you really mean to turn things around. In that spirit, wouldn't free be a better price for an apology offering?

I am sorry for the way the shipping has gone lately and this IS trying help turn things around. $25 for a great sounding and playing Celesta (something that is pretty hard to find) is a pretty great deal. Please remember that I do have business to run
Making it downloadable gives everyone instant gratification on their purchase and no fears of shipping.
You can also view the comments of some of the people who have already bought on OSX Audio via the link I posted above.
Thanks for your input

Sorry Donnie, but I won't be buying anything from you until jcn7 and DwarfNebula are fixed up.
And what about the free libraries you promised to re-peat?
I hope you're working day and night to finish their libraries.
It's too bad, because I like the sound of this Celesta. I also like the sound of your harp, but wish it had more velocity layers.

I've refrained from participating in the various recent threads, but now I have a question. You've mentioned problems with shipping here and on OS X Audio. I'd like to know: are you saying that the only problems have been with the way shipping has recently been handled? In other words, that the problem would be me, since I was the one handling shipping?
Just wondering.

Martin,
I don't think that's the intent of what he is saying. There were obviously shipping issues long before you came on board - which was pretty much why you were taken on as I recall.
And now you've done a massive job to get things moving again - happy to thank you publicly for that
. My flute order is almost on it's way. Woohoo!
And.....you did so while keeping all of us who were waiting well informed and accurately informed - also much appreciated.

, what about all the other issues, selling libraries that don't fully exist yet, formats that are bought and paid for, but aren't ready yet, lies upon lies, not making good on promises of refunding those who have been used by you...did you forget to add these things to your public appology??? Again, please just do what is right....treat us the way you want to be treated. J. NewmanI am sorry for the way the shipping has gone lately

My mind's eye sees an ad for the Lost Cost line of soon-to-exist sample libraries... no refunds... =@.@=DCStudios wrote:If you have been looking for a great playing lost cost Celesta

Yes, you did win 30GB of DC tambourine samples, Herman! Never got it? Is this the same "Orchestral percussions" library that was not available in certain formats?Herman Witkam wrote:Will I ever get those tambourines I won last Halloween?
Now if 30 people order the celesta, then Jcn7 can get hist refund.

Yeah, the 30 gb is the full library though. The closest I ever got to getting the sounds was Donnie setting up a download in multiple parts from which I received the first part...but all the sounds were in Kontakt format, while I clearly stated before that I'm a GS3 user. He never replied anymore afterwards.

Herman, I'll try to make up a little of it to you. I'm planning to have a go at converting your wonderful and unusual instrumental samples into a format I can use. If all goes well, and the samples are as good as others have said, I'll save a little chunk of cash for you out of next month's paycheck.
You've done us all a grand service, giving away so many interesting instrument samples -- some quite obscure and hard to get otherwise. You deserve to be rewarded for that, and I'm hoping to be one of those doing just that.
Good luck with the tambourines.
