Voice, for example. Or drums (sampled). Just how good are the rack effects? Will we all be blown away, and if so, when can we expect this to happen?

Definitely. And not just vocals or drums. It'll be great for adding character to synth basses (any synth parts, really), sampled instruments (a sampled orchestra through Ampltube sounds awesome!) Do you have Amplitube 1? Amplitube 1 is already a great sound-shaping tool for any instrument - not just guitars. Of course, we're not talking about pristine mastering-grade sound-shaping.tkmattson wrote:Voice, for example. Or drums (sampled).
It's good to think of Amplitube as a whole kit of processing tools. It's like you pulled apart a bunch of guitar amps and found ways to hotwire them directly into your mixing desk.
I haven't heard the Amplitube 2 rack effects properly, but judging from IK's track record and the leap (it's huge) from AT1 to AT2, I think they'll be awesome. I'm looking forward to using them on all kinds of instruments. Definitely worthy of joining your other "rack" effects.tkmattson wrote:Just how good are the rack effects?
You can expect to be blown away as soon as you get it in your hands.tkmattson wrote:Will we all be blown away, and if so, when can we expect this to happen?
Forever,
