All I meant was yes you're right, yes it is kind of obvious so I was kind of saying "really, do you think synths are the way forward"

We have some nice free samples on our Free sounds page here

Our electro stuff is in the Drum kits section and in the loops section.

The drums/percussion kits are all electronic. Of course they may not have the style you're looking for, but they may.
