The sung parts sound like distortion disco for the Bon Jovi set. Curious stylistic direction for him, I expected him to get more esoteric following the last album.
The melody oddly put me in mind of .38 Special, which is indeed as terrifying as you might guess.
The instrumental bridge sounded the most interesting part. Too bad everything has to be a straightforward rock song at that level of the market.

yes, I think the same. pretty too straightforward, much too conventional. The instrumental part is definitely the best. let's wait anyway...

Another track, "The Line Begins to Blur", has also been leaked. It's a noiser but still melodic track. Personally I like what I've heard so far.

Uh, U2 does DEVO? I'm tired of the dark stuff anyway. Trent should just rock out in a 4 piece.

Well, doesn't need to be dark, but a little less bland never hurt.androidlove wrote:Uh, U2 does DEVO? I'm tired of the dark stuff anyway. Trent should just rock out in a 4 piece.

Yep, a little too straightforward RnR for me. Still, its the best thing I've heard from him in years.

am i one of the only people in the world that really liked fragile? sure, it wasnt downward spiral, but i thought it showed a much more mature and versatile compositional side of trent. it made for a great tour too.BONES wrote:Yep, a little too straightforward RnR for me.
