Someone was asking for some dog samples on another thread and I hosted it over in audioshots. Thought I would post a link so my friends over here can have it. I'm not gonna compete with Squids, and it's not quite his quality level, but it was a great learning expirience for me to put it together. It made me appreciate how much work it is to do what he does, and what a good deal it is to buy sounds from someone who knows what he's doing! Maybe you will find it useful. LOL,,, here's my chance to corner the dog barking sample market! It's a good thing I didn't make a trumpet sample and have him cancel the brass capsule we're looking forward to. Man would I get flamed then!!

Actually Squids, an animal/sound effects disk would be cool.

You know, that's really spooky. About a year ago, Squids was talking about a rhythm guitar capsule - full of strums etc. That would have TOTALLY kicked arse.

Problem is, I made my own crappy electric guitar strum instrument in ST2 by sampling my cheap electric guitar... and about the same time, the rhythm guitar capsule got cancelled!!

Squids, not having to deal with "dog capsules" is one reason I do not own a dog. Be glad you didn't go through with this grand scheme. Stick with what people want and will pay for -- ophicleides. ;-)

My apartment building does not allow pets, so when I am feeling lonesome and wish I had a dog for companionship, I'll listen to that! Too funny!
