Holy Crap....CM rated it a 3 Damn, truth hurts.

So technically its in the ballpark of the StikAx toy thingy?

I haven't seen the review, but I can't help but feel this was all foretold in the cards. It felt all along like the angle Hartmann were taking from the outset (dongle controller, initially without modelmaker) was hostile to its potential customers. Bad reviews were in the air before any one had heard it.

I don't think it was the dongle or Modelmaker that got it a bad review - it was the fact that a £500 soft synth didn't actually work with any software host for longer than around five seconds, which made actually reviewing it next to impossible. It's all very well designing a revolutionary new approach to synthesis but make sure it's not a bug ridden piece of crap when you release it (especially at that price!)
