I've recorded some knob tweaking onto a channel in Fruity Loops that I'd like to erase. It was not done through an automation clip...I just hit record and started fooling with the pitch of a channel and now it's whacked out everytime it reached the part where I recorded the tweaks. Can anyone advise? Thank you.

Right click the affected knob/slider, say Edit events, and erase the info drawn on the time line.
You can select all and press delete.

Also, you can use the sample browser to go to Current Project / Automation - especially useful if you can't remember what knob you've tweaked.

That has happened to me so many times. I start experimenting with knob tweaks not knowing I have the record enabled (and that a huge red button). Then when I hit play again I start hearing cut off tweaks or whats worse, tempo tweaks. LOL then I gotta go back and watch carefully for anything moving thats not supposed to, and erase the automation.

thanks everybody.
