I am importing loops made in FL to arrange in AcidPro. If I export the loops 32 bit and want to import into Acid in a 24bit project do I need to do any dithering.

I guess I have 3 obtains, 1) dither the loops down to 24 bits before I put them in Acid. 2) Just use the 32 bits loops in Acid and then dither all of them on a buss to 24 bits or 3) just use the 32 bit loops in Acid and just export the arrangement in 24bits and wait to do any dithering at all until after I master. Thanks for any help or feedback.

PS, the reason I don't just do everything in FL is because my CPU can't handle it.

My experience has been that it's probably best to do as much processing as possible within the original application before utilizing another. But in the case of dithering, it really makes little difference which app you use.

32 bit? What am I missing? Is this 32 bit 44.1 kHz or 96 kHz or 192 kHz?
