Running Athlon 3200+, 1G RAM, Windows XP, Ableton Live.
I put several instruments into Live. One part calls for "Synth Bells" so I find a patch on Wavestation that is close enough and I use that. Now I switch midi channels on my Roland A-37, to my PlugSound piano VST. I play a bit and switch channels back to the bells again, and the Wavestation has a completely different patch. #49, the last one in Ram1 if I remember rightly.
Tried PPG Wave and the same situation--as soon as I switch to another MIDI channel, so as to play a different instrument in Ableton Live, and I switch back, I get something different than what I started with. This keyboard is new to me but I love it so far. Anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong or is it the sequencer/VST software not working correctly?
Thanks,
C/mub

try this when u have your track open on a channel in the lower left hand corner there is 3 boxes .Bank SUB and I forget what the 3rd is but they correspond to your patches so if you are looking for #49 in bank 1 set the first 2 boxes to #1 and the third to 49 and it should be all good so now every time u go to that channel that patch will play.U must do the same f0or hardware stuff as well.Hope this helps .Iam not oon my normal comp as soon as I get home I will modify the post with exact terminology and post a link to a pciture 4 u .
