I sow in the archive the topic: "Can Reason Refills be unpacked back to wave files?
(The realy point was how we can unpacked them)
thats is imposible, but maby we can convert the RPS files in RNS.....
And after many answers somebody sad:
there is a "rps2rns" file converter already out, so there are people out there who can make an unpacker, its just the question of finding them;
Well, I fund it,(and It is not a spyware) Mabe somebody wants to try it ?
What is de best way to share this soft?

If this is true it's a breakthrough!

bacool has 1 post. Sorry, but I'd need more reassurance that's you're cool before trying anything from you. No offense!

Ok, comming in this forum I made several mistakes
When people arrive at forums normally it is for ask something
And me, in my "first post" (what a cheek!) I proposed to share a rare tool,
thinking that was a nice way to introduce me .( I personaly tray it before to proposed it here,I'm not a fuckin' chicken-shit, my sweet boys)
Why? because I'm musicien, i used
computers for my work, and I need to learn the english language to. I had learn a lot of french lake that. But if you think that i am disturbing the "normal style" of this forum I leave immediatly.I am realy very very sorry

Simple answer: post the URL where you found it. Then we'll see from there...bacool wrote:What is de best way to share this soft?
Sure Reason Refills can be hacked, its just a matter of time before somebody has put in enough effort to get it done. Weather it is legal or not, that is another question. Maybe you are allowed to use PropellorHead copyrighted contents outside Reason (done through ReWire anyway.) But it opens the door to redistribution, and that is illegal for sure.
Anyway, welcome to KVR!

There's no reason to be sorry. People here can be a little shitty at times, but they're well-mannered and cool for the most part.bacool wrote:Ok, comming in this forum I made several mistakes

About the "rps2rns", I found it in a P2P program. Is for that I answer for a "way to share it"
I dont know if is legal or not. I have the soft
Sothink SWF Decompiler, is the same problem with Flash ? But you can buy it legal.
Anyway the rps2rns is a old small program (170 k)
he work only with Reason 1
I can send into a email if somebody want it.

Ok Chase, I know what you mind and I hope so but when you dont have the control of the language you are using, you look like stupid or your attitude seem suspect.I am a little tired of this situation and I hope to learn fast enough english to understand correctly and send the answer in de same tune.Forums are a good way to do that, but sometimes things like that happends.!

bacool welcome to kvr. im new here, too, and nobody welcomed me
this topic has surfaced many times before and also at the Props' forum. maybe there's a program out there that can unpack a refill, maybe not. if there is one then im not interested in it. im always wondering why people would like to unpack an .rfl file. i mean, there's no logic to it.
anyhow, there was this guy in the Reason yahoogroup who was inquiring the same thing. he liked to unpack a refill to load the wav files to another sampler. i replied to him that there's no logic at what his trying to do because Reason already comes with a cool sampler in NNXT. not to mention it's more work and process involved in unpacking would be tedious.
why unpack a refill? is it a space issue that you only want to load certain wavs in your hard drive? certain patches? or....?
cheers!

One direct purpose is to backup your files as Self-Contained, the files related in a .rfl are not saved.
so if u collaborate with someone you have to send the .rfl as well.
Second, is NN-XT better than Kontakt ?
and the list goes on
Cheers

Welcome to you too then, DigitalMishMash
That's a thing easy to be forgotten, and once your count is above ten, well... welcome again.
Bacool: if it only works with Reason 1.0 refills then it is not much fun. If I *really* wanted the samples, I could record it in another program. Never needed that, because there are so many samples & soundfonts available on the net. for free, without legal issues.
