Does anyone know of a plugin that will repeat/drum roll a note like the tap repeat button on the MPC?

You mean a multitap delay? Or were you thinking of triggering it somehow, like with a note on from your keyboard? If it's the latter, you don't need any FX for that.

yeh I made one called push deleay, you can trigger wet/dry delay via midi keys.

I think that may help. The ideal scenerio is I hold down a key and it repeats (at the quantize rate 1/16, 1/8, whatever) until I let the key go.

I guess that could be done with loop points in any soft sampler...

Or maybe check out some of the buffer plugins by ioplong at smartelectronix. Also might be worth checking out Plogue Bidule. It has a five second audio buffer module that you can set up to be fully triggerable.

smartelectronix supatrigga should also work but you'd have to find a way to automate the on/off

yeah i got Suppatrigga. I guess i just my mpc tap/repeat button.

Lucifer was nice, but still not what I meant. Has anyone in here seen, owned, or used a MPC? If you have then maybe you can help me clarify what the tap/repeat button is.

You hold down a button and it continually fires the sample till you let go?

Definately not a delay, and I 'm afraid dont know of a plug that does it.
