Komplete 2: installation questions .. (mac)

a few questions (and a small installation experience) about Komplete 2, which arrived here an hour ago. (mac here)

i am now about to install the 2nd DVD, containing the libraries for Kontakt and Battery.

There´s no installer on DVD2, but 2 folders for each library containing ".dmg"´s. (just saw that there are installers for pc, but no mac one).

So: do i really have to open each dmg to copy the content then to the folders on my hd??

and here´s a little report about my installation:
First: it forgot to install Absynth, B4, and kompakt.
So i had to reinstall it again. In the second round only Kompakt was missing, so installed that in the 3rd round ..

(no Un-Installer in sight, hade to delete everything manually *sigh* )

Not on a mac here, but yeah, you should copy the contents of the dmg files to your NI folder. With no installer you might have to manually assign the paths for the samples in their respective instruments.

Maybe you should document your progress for the next Puttorial.

how could they forget to put the mac installers on the 2nd DVD??

I now have to create folders and stuff, and am curious if the plugs themselves will cope with that later on.

my troubles with NI products over the years would cover a fulllenght 3-part 120 minute documentary. I´m afraid that my putorial-company hasnt got the money-reserves to realize that.
