He very effectively uses the Tibetan singing bowls.
Are there any sources of samples of the Tibetan singing bowls?

check the mm2 thread i beleive sg has put some in there
theres a thraed at the auditorium and one here in everything else i think?

Samples will never give you that depth though. You need to go out and buy a couple.

I realize that it would be very difficult to sample all of it's variety. I was just wondering....

The ones in Silk Road are pretty damn good actually.

Also there are some great physically modelled ones for Tassman done by Harm Visser.

Thanks, aMUSEd. I was curious about the silk road samples. Gilla's sample is nice, but I only found one sample. Are there more?

I think Atmosphere has bowl sounds - maybe somone can sample a few.

Just to be sure here – that would be such a violation of copyright it does not bare thinking about – don’t do it – also don’t whatever you do post any copywritten stuff like that at any of my sites.
