More epointz user name confusion.

There seems to have been a problem for some people who have tried to use my user name as a referrer to get their $5 in epointz. The field must be exact, or it will not go through. It has to be entered HARMONYGARDENS There can't be a space, and must have the S at the end.
If you have tried to use me, and not gotten your epointz, please contact robert@esoundz.com
I wish i had chosen an easier name now. I've been in comunication with Robert on this, and he's been great, but it boils down to the name must be entered perfectly.

Thanks T-Willy, they went through! Actually, these are the first epointz I've actually gotten, from a referral, even though a couple of people have told me they used me. I really appreciate epointz, but they either werent' entered right, or something,,,,
That's why I'm asking people who used me, to check thier epointz, because they may have not gotten thiers, too. In that case, contact Robert. He and Squids have been so cool about trying to help me on this. Maybe people didn't get the "s" on the end of my name.
Anyway, this restores my faith that it's does work, if my name is entered right. thanks!

Harmony I really think something went wrong wit hte epointz. Frankly I don't think it is because people are entering the name wrong either. I think it may be the way they did the orders, with chrging later or something. I didn't recieve any epointz either and I know some people had to use my name since it was the second post in the last group buy. I am positive at least a few people used yours since you were so present in the thread. I really wish someone would look into this further. Well, actually,I've talking to them a bit about it. I even got squids in on it, they seemed to conclude that it was working fine, because when Robert entered my name correctly, it all worked, and I was the only one who had expressed there was a problem. They suggested I make sure people knew my exact name, which is what I've done.
Please tell them your problem, Bill.
I've made the suggestion that they send us a notice if someone gives us epointz, with thier name, so we could have a chance to thank them, too.

yeah it is working if someone places an order now but I don't think it worked when people were placing advanced orders on the group buy. Thanks T willy,,, I have no doubt they will get it straightened out. I might worry if it was anyone but esoundz, but this company has proven to me that they go the extra mile. We just need to document the problem, and let them know. It's obviously a little deeper than it first appeared, but with Squids being in Sweden, and the weekend, we'll have to wait til monday for them to sort it out. It's good to know the system is working now, as you've proven. Thanks for your help on this and for the epointz!

You are right harmony, with esoundz you don't have to worry at all. Squids is almost too honest lol, sometimes I feel like he gets taken advantage of or something (not really but you know what I mean). Gentlemen, here is your answer.
There has been an error in communicating to you properly how the Group Buy functionality works. After a good amount of research and communicating back and forth with you all, we have found the error. You'll be pleased to note that the error is ours.
The esoundz automated Group Buy system will apply you existing ePointz to any type of order including Group Buys. It does not currently, however, process ePointz referrals at all. So, for those of you who joined the latest Group Buy, any ePointz you already had were successfully applied, but any name (not just yours Harmony!) you entered was summarily not processed for referral credits.
esoundz management had some lengthly discussion about whether to allow ePointz referrals to be added to Group Buys (which of course already create some very serious discounts). In the end, we decided at least initially to NOT allow ePointz referral credits for Group Buys, due to the fact that the Group Buy itself was already offering such a deep discount.
There were 2 errors made by our development team, including myself regarding this issue. The first was that we didn't properly notate in our description of Group Buys that referral credits are not applicable to Group Buys. The second and more serious error is that during the Group Buy process, you were given the opportunity to enter a name for referral! Our apologies for the errors, and my thanks to those of you who have taken the time to contact esoundz and me and patiently plead your case.
Harmony, when you contacted me, I erroneously assumed that you were talking about a regular order you had placed. In a later communication with you, you mentioned that the referral was for the latest esoundz Group Buy and as soon as I saw that, I knew where to look.
Each of you who has contacted me regarding a missed referral credit during the latest Group Buy will be credited with ePointz today. In addition, esoundz will be updated to more properly reflect that Group Buys are for now at least, exempt from ePointz referral credits (though of course, any ePointz you already have, will be used).
I thank you all for your continued patience. It's a gift to have such a dedicated group of smarties be your customers

When you join a Group Buy, you cannot refer anyone for new ePointz. Any ePointz already in your account will be applied though.ATS wrote: I'm glad you got it sorted out.
