hi

the story is: I did some arrangements for a pop singer and will do some recording for her as well. However as I don't have much experience tracking drums and all, we teamed up with a producer and a great studio owner (two persons) and recorded the basic tracks.

The studio owner liked what I did and offered me paid training and free studio time in exchange for my services (nothing kinky mind you).

Studio is really great (manu katche and pino palladino recorded here as well) and the amount of gear is astonishing. Manleys, tube-tech, avalon, distressors, fatsos, you name it.

The question:

With so much gear and so little time (I play in bands, orchestras and teach a little) - I'm not really sure if I'm ready to devote so much time to knowing all the gear and mics..., which is what I'm supposed to do there.

shit, forgot what I wanted to say all along. gotta go.

stress causes confusion, sit down from time to time and have a nice cup of tea...
