I am in the market for a very good bass...I mean really good! I need something that will hold up to jazz and funk music. I own Sampletank 2, Sonik Synth 2, Sonik Bass Capsule, and Plugsound Fretted...from these I don't hear anything yet that is of the quality I am looking for from the bass department.

So, I am looking at Trilogy, but to be honest I only care about 1/3 of that Trilogy. Then there is also the Scarbee J-Bass, which I hear is fantastic. But that's like $200 for 1 instrument. So, how does the Fender in Manystation stack up against the best e-basses in Trilogy or Scarbee? Does it have slaps too? I understand we are talking about a big difference in price, but I am curious about just how good the bass in Manystation is.

The basses in this thing are EXCELLENT!! Check out my latest piece JazzPark and you will hear it. The Fender Jazz bass is the best i've heard and the slaps are great too.

I have to agree with tim on this. The electric bass guitars in the manystation soundset are a beautiful piece of work. They're perfect for jazz and funk type music.

I have Scarbee which has anti-machine gun and lots of cool features.

But ManyStation basses have a lovely tone that clunks through. Very real feeling.
