Decided to load 5.02 after a long hiatus... Works pretty well, but I can't remember anything! Now, can you record midi to tracks in the playlist as well as the Piano roll?? I tried to record to a track, and it gave me a bunch of wave files at the bottom of the playlist... Instead of notes in the piano roll?? What the??
So if I want to listen to a couple bars of drum tracks, while recording to a synth in another track, that would be done in the playlist...No? Otherwise I have to copy the drum track to all the VST tracks... is that the way it works?? Hmmm, I had this down before...

I've owned Fruity since version 3.0... I've read what they call the manual... Quick, answer the damn question, or have you read the manual?

If I understand correctly:
You can insert the drum patterns in the playlist. Maybe after the rest of the song to make it easy. Then double-click the "time-line" thing on the playlist, and drag to select the duration of the drums(doing this will make the playlist loop that selection). Now, select an empty pattern for the synth you want to record, and select it's channel on the pattern editor. Press record, and off you go.
got it? did I get it? hmm..

Yes, that is the way it works... But, I stil haven't figured out how the wave files appeared at the bottom of the playlist... recording to a midi track?? I can't even make it do that... now?

assign midi track to a mixer track, then up in the corner I forget which left or right, arm mixer track for recording, select auto create audio clip and render
after which it will appear in the playlist. sorry I know my memory is sloppy but it should jogg your memory a bit

And, as previously stated, reading the freaking manual might explain a few things...do you want us to read it for you?DHR53 wrote:Yes, that is the way it works... The answer is: doesn't the crack come with a manual? Or, is there some other reason you aren't reading it?DHR53 wrote:Hey bub... if your so smart, what's the answer...
And, if you can't figure out what's going on and you're asking for help on something so basic, then YOU are f**king idiot.

or automation clip only.
All midi must be recorded or manualy entered into a pattern. Then the patterns are laid out in he playlist...
It's all in the help file.
Do you have an aversion to the help yourself?

Cracked software... You've got to be kidding?? Check my posts, dickhead!!Cheeso wrote:The answer is: doesn't the crack come with a manual? Or, is there some other reason you aren't reading it?DHR53 wrote:Hey bub... if your so smart, what's the answer...

Whats wrong with using cracked software? Get off your high-horses and go make some music and stop bitching about people using cracks and warez. But anyway...This guy had a question...but rather than answer it, he was instructed to read the manual. Fine. Obviously he posted the question here for a reason so why not just answer it? Cheeso then busts out like hes the FL cops or something and accuses this cat of using a cracked version. So what if he is? Does it really make you feel good about yourself to go accusing people of something that is TOTALLY none of YOUR business. The fact that you felt the need to reply to his post rather than just letting it go proves to me that you are a sad and lonely person craving some well needed attention from mom and dad.

Yeah well...I've never heard of you either and I have never once paid for any piece of software. Suckers...
