ya this is my first post in the forum...I was wondering what are the best synths for making psytrance. Ones that sound like thos of GMS and Raja Ram in the song Acid Test. thanks in advance.

nord lead, virus, actually every synth will do depends on its possibilities and structure. Some synths are nice for pads, some for basses and leads its all depends how u can mix music.
As for vst plugins if u wanna get close to Nord Lead u should try dsp discovery and synth 1 (which is freware).
if you want to make nice psy basslines u can go with vb1, tau pro, audiorealism TB, scorpion, monologue, etc etc.
For pads synths any synth will usually do (even embracer) its all depends from reverb. you can als use a tremolo plugin if u'd feel like to.
I heard that GMS make their music only with nord leads and mac
