MIDI Channel Question

Thanks to all who helped in my last multiple MIDI input question! I have one more that's been a small issue ever since leaving Cubase for Tracktion...

Let's say I have a multi-channel VST, like GPO, loaded in a track. Sometimes I like to load several different instruments, one per MIDI channel and then switch back and forth through them using my MIDI controller's channel button.

Now, I know I can select the MIDI input dialog and switch the channel through Tracktion, but it seems when I leave the channel set to NONE, only Channel 1 is input to the VST no matter what Channel I'm broadcasting on from the keyboard.

In Cubase, you can set the Channel to "ANY" and it just passes through the MIDI data received from the keyboard. Any thoughts on this would be most appreciated.

In the past, I've used mdc's Channelizer plug-in per track, but the GPO VST in a rack and then instanced it across each track I want to record on.
